Company History
Archivista started in 1975 as a partnership firm to render Architectural Design, Structural Design and Construction Supervision Services. In 1989 incorporated into a Private Limited Company as “Archivista Consultants Pvt., Ltd.” . There after for Architectural, Engineering Services & Turnkey solutions “Archivista Engineering Projects Pvt. Ltd.” is established in 2004. Over the years it has matured into a full-fledged Architectural, as well as Engineering Consultancy company which Designs, Engineers and also manages projects on a Turnkey consultancy basis.
ARCHIVISTA is a closely held company and has been promoted and managed by qualified & Architectural / Engineering professionals who have wide- ranging experience in all aspects of Architectural and Engineering field. We at Archivista, have strong work ethics, commitment to quality and timely delivery. Hence we, strive to design buildings which are not only functional assembly of engineering cubicles but are the lively spaces, which strike a musical chord within you. Hence buildings we design “look good “, not only externally but are also designed to be experienced “from within”.
Management Team
Late Mr. Ravindra Joshi is the co founder of Archivista Engineering Projects Pvt. Ltd. Practicing since 1974, he has personally designed and executed a varied range of buildings from schools, residences, hotels, office buildings and industrial buildings until 2001. The focus beyond 2001 was on Industrial complexes involving complex utilities as well as master planning including the detail design of individual buildings. A perfectionist by practice, Ravindra (Ravi) Joshi has a keen eye for detailing and this is what assures top quality design deliverable to our clients. He is a enthusiastic reader and a very well traveled person. He has been invited to countries like China, USA, Sweden, Germany and Turkey by our clients to visit their industrial facilities and replicate them in the Indian context. Apart from design, Ravi Joshi is an ardent supporter of Sustainable Development. He has also has been an invitee for an intensive course on Sustainable Development at Auroville, Pondicherry. He has given lectures at colleges and clubs on Entrepreneurship, Responsible Citizenship, Appropriate Technologies in Building Construction, Energy efficient Buildings, Green Architecture etc. Under Ravi Joshi’s leadership, AEPPL has done one of the highly complex building till now i.e the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly at Chennai. A few other projects that have won the Design Award under his leadership are Sai Chambers, Pune, Brintons Carpet & TetraPak Etc. His team of architects and engineers are like Ravi Joshi’s shadows and he has induced all of his best qualities into his team to give top quality service to his clients.
Mr. Sanjay Rode is one of the Directors at Archivista. He has completed his B.E in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune. He is associated with Archivista since 1988 and has earned his place starting with as a Site Engineer to General Manager and now as Director. He is the other balancing wheel at Archivista and compliments Ravi Joshi’s artistic approach with good engineering skills, much needed for Industrial Architecture wing. With his hands on experience on a varied range of projects, from commercial, residential to industrial Sanjay Rode is equally responsible for running the Archivista engine. He has executed most of the “Design Build” projects completed by Archivista. He has been associated with our prestigious clients like Dhariwal Industries, Manikchand Packaging Limited, Bobst India Pvt. Ltd, Dohler India P.Ltd & Sandvik Asia Ltd. for setting up their facilities at various locations all around India.
Mr. Shriram Joshi has completed B.Arch. from BKPS College of Architecture at Pune and M.S in Construction Management from Texas A&M, USA. He has worked for almost 7 years in US in cities like College Station & Las Vegas. He worked as the Scheduler and Cost Estimator for various projects including Planet Hollywood Casino, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, City Center at MGM Mirage, VA Medical Center in Las Vegas, City Hall & Civic Plaza for North Las Vegas. Shriram is also LEED & PMP certified professional.
Now as a Project Manager for the PMC division at Archivista, Shriram has given a bright new direction to the practice. Currently he is coordinating projects with Inox Air Products, Forbes Marshall, Bedmutha Industries and Mahindra Gears.
